Interview driving safely

“Working on driving safely together with driving schools”
In 2013, Q-Park was partner to the English Driving Instructions Association (DIA). The aim was to teach new drivers about safer parking. Many new drivers do not practice in a car park before they get their driving licence. However, it is important that they learn how to park safely in a car park.
The collaboration between Q-Park and the DIA offers all learner drivers the opportunity to practice parking in a multi-storey car park. We offer driving instructors the opportunity to use our parking facilities in Reading, Nottingham and Birmingham for up to an hour at no charge so their learners can practice parking. Learner drivers can therefore learn to manoeuvre in a safe environment, away from main roads and traffic, without it costing them anything extra. In addition, we offer learner drivers free parking vouchers which they can use once they have passed. A special leaflet with tips helps new drivers to remember the important points. In this way, Q-Park helps those people gain self-confidence and rewards performance.
Q-Park Great Britain has recently expanded this initiative to Edinburgh and will also introduce this in other cities.
